A secure, read-only desktop dashboard for your online bank accounts — it shows everything and can move nothing.

Xardas Vault is a native, local-first desktop app that gives you fast, private visibility into your business or personal bank accounts. Connect it to your bank's read-only API — Mercury first — with a token you supply, and it shows current and available balances, month-to-date inflows and outflows, a twelve-month cashflow chart, and up to twelve months of transactions, refreshing automatically every couple of minutes while it's open. Link more than one bank or account and view them all together or focus on a single account. It is a viewer by design: it cannot move money, initiate transfers, create or modify recipients, or change any banking setting, because the app has no code path that writes to your bank.

Security is the point. The app is locked behind a required password, with an optional authenticator-code check layered on top — and your token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM behind an Argon2id-derived key, never displayed after you save it, and never used for anything but reading. Balances and transactions are never written to disk in plaintext — they stay in memory for the session and are cleared when you lock or close. There is no cloud, no telemetry, and no analytics; other than licensing activation and release, the only network calls are the read-only requests to your own bank. The app ships with blank credential fields — you bring your own read-only token, and compatibility depends on your bank offering suitable read-only API access.

What it does

Read-only by design: connects only through your own read-only banking API token (Mercury supported first, with an adapter architecture for other read-only banking APIs over time), and has no ability to move money, transfer funds, create recipients, or change any bank setting

Live dashboard you can focus on any one account or all of them at once: current and available balances, total balance, month-to-date inflows and outflows, a twelve-month cashflow chart, a spending-category summary, pending-versus-posted activity, and an optional local tax-reserve estimate

Link more than one bank or account simultaneously — Xardas Vault syncs them all and lets you view them together or one at a time

Automatic sync every two minutes while open (the interval is adjustable), with a 'last synced' time, a live countdown to the next sync, and a manual Sync-now — syncing stops while the app is locked and when it closes

Filter twelve months of history by date range, account, amount, merchant or description, status, and payment method (ACH, wire, card…); export the exact view to CSV, or print it and save a PDF statement — manual only, never emailed or uploaded — handy for tax prep and hardcopy records

A required app password encrypts your saved token (with an optional authenticator-app code and an inactivity auto-lock); balances and transactions live in memory only and are wiped on lock or close.
